Hi everyone,
Hope you're enjoying Spring.
Happy days here and things are closer and closer to getting delivered (finally!). The instability in SUEZ and TRUMP's new tariffs are creating problems and delays in the global supply chain.
Here's a summary of what is going on
- All express orders have been shipped so far, If you still haven't received it, let us know at [email protected].
- US standard orders have already arrived to the US, they can expect to be picked up by UPS this weekend or next Monday, with ETA for next week. All these trackings will update after the boat arrives to its destinations, so don't worry if the tracking from 27th Feb and 3rd Mar is still pending info.
- EU Orders that have been shipped - These were the first shipped after express orders, but the global logistics are not great. Instead of 45 days transit time, we discovered that most boats are not crossing SUEZ and they are taking 60 days because they are going around Africa due to instability in the Gulf area. ETA is mid-April to late April
- Pending orders with no tracking on Backer Kit or 8000kicks.com orders - some orders are expected to ship from Portugal's warehouse to avoid extra customs costs to customers. The stock will arrive in 2 weeks, and we are working to ship these as fast as possible. ETA is mid-April to late April
Also... A lot of backpack shipments have been delayed in order to be upgraded with the new hooks. If you still have problems, let us know and we will replace or exchange your hooks free of charge.

Hello everyone,
Bernardo here from 8000Kicks :-) Hope 2025 is going well so far and you are surviving the last stretch of winter.
As of now We have shipped 60% of all our orders and all express orders have been shipped, but not all standard orders have been shipped, especially to the US and for a good reason.
You are probably aware of the new Trump tariffs being implemented on multiple products from multiple countries including China. Well, this has been sending shockwaves across the supply chain and no one dares to operate in those unstable conditions, even if it is CHINA-EU shipping. The political instability is also not helping. It is very complicated for us to load a boat and then be surprised with significant charges the moment a product arrives the destination country.
As of now, we are negotiating with our shipping partners on the best way to proceed. According to our information, some of these extra taxes will be held for a while and we will try to take advantage of that window opportunity to ship everything asap. We are also rushing all other orders that are not going to the US.
- Express orders - All shipped and being delivered as we speak.
- Standard orders Non-US- Currently in process, and we plan to have everything shipped by the end of February as initially promised, with the latest deliveries happening in April. Some of these will only have the trackings available next month.
- Standard orders US- Resuming next week. We plan to have everything shipped by the end of February as initially promised, with the latest deliveries happening in April. (Although paused, we are still within schedule)

Alo Alo Everyone,
Happyyyyyy Monday everyone, we have amazing news--> Our production is ready.
Below is our warehouse full of stock, and this week we will start moving it to our logistics warehouse from where we will be shipping all around the world.
As stated in previous updates, we won't have time to ship everything before Chinese New Year holidays (which happens in whole Asia from 22th Jan to 10th Feb). We will try to ship as much as possible before the CNY holiday and the rest will be shipped after carriers reopen.
- Express orders - This is our absolute priority, and we will try to ship as many as possible before CNY. Worst case scenario you will receive your order by mid February to early March (depending on where you are). Please note that there are a lot of orders and it will take us some time to ship everything.
- Standard orders - This will be our next step, and we plan to have everything shipped by the end of February, with the latest deliveries happening in April.
